Rio represents one of the biggest urban jungles in the world, so it has a lot of trails, waterfalls and nature to offer.
A big part of the carioca culture is built around this contact with nature.
The Pedra Bonita’s trail is located inside the National Park of Tijuca, sector C, precisely between the Gavea Rock and the neighbourhoods of Sao Conrado and Barra da Tijuca. There are steep parts of the trail, which can increase the physical difficulty. The walk is pleasant and passes by reforestation areas with a lot of green. The surprise arrives when you get to the top and enjoy the gorgeous view of the Gavea Rock, beaches like Barra, Sao Conrado, Leblon and Ipanema, and also the Dois Irmaos Hill, the Tijuca Forest and some parts of the South Zone. No doubt, a great thing to do if you’re looking for an adventure.
